presentation after-glow… I live for this!
Motivational CDs are about the only things that get played in my car, apart from some Krishna Das and a few select meditation CDs. (This is the root of constant complaining by the teenagers.) And don’t freak out. I only meditate while safely parked in my driveway. I’m only dangerous when I dance – not when I drive.
Last Tuesday morning, I was on my way to the College of Staten Island High School for International Studies to present my talk, “Finding Success Through Being Yourself”, that I would be presenting to four groups of students. As per usual, I had yet another motivational CD playing as I drove.
I wasn’t even 6 minutes into The Importance of Being Extraordinary with Dr. Wayne W. Dyer & Eckhart Tolle when I found inspiration. Even though I had prepared, practiced, and scribbled notes on forty-two index cards, I knew I had to share with the students what I just had heard on this offering from two of my favorite teachers.
