I draw inspiration for my meditations from many places—from you, from teachers, from nature, from experiences. My Meditation for Connection, Focus, and Communication was inspired by all the aforementioned sources.
This meditation is appropriate for anyone seeking a stronger connection to self, focus on a particular task, or efficiency in communication, but it is especially good for control freaks, micro-managers, overachievers, perfectionists, and all others I would call “my people”.
It was written shortly after a personal meditation session I enjoyed while on the Reclaiming the Wild Woman retreat, led by Vanessa Chakour, founder of Sacred Warrior. This meditation features themes from one of Vanessa’s meditations taught on the retreat along with those of another respected meditation guide and dear friend, Emily Fletcher (Ziva Meditation). I’m blessed with so many guides.
