How To Make Raw Vegan Party Dip: Yummy Monday w/ Mike Perrine – Raw Food Detox Diet

Taking time to rest and meditate and feed your soul with positive relationships and experiences is just as important to achieving true health as eating a good diet and exercising. I took a lot of time this week to spend some time alone, exploring my property and just being still. This allowed me to discover countless little nooks & crannies and views of the farm.

I met a herd of deer that graze in the small corral and a wild turkey who hangs out in my driveway every morning before the humans wake up. But my favorite parts of the farm are the tiniest parts – the pine needles, the moss on the ground, the hummingbirds zipping from flower to flower.

Today is Yummy Monday, so Mike and I have another delicious recipe to nourish your body. My wish this week is for you take some time to also nourish your spirit with quiet time of reflection and gratitude. I posted on Facebook this past weekend, “Just like you would take pleasure in giving to a child who always says “thank you” and shows appreciation, the Universe will reward you when you are grateful. Feel happy for this day and attract amazing things into your life.” xo

Quick Miso Tahini Dressing with Carrot Sticks

– 1/3 C Sweet White or Mellow Miso
– 2/3 C Water
– 1 1/3 C Raw Tahini
– 1-2 Scallions Sliced Thin
– 2T Lemon Juice or juice of ½ a lemon

1. Incorporate the first three ingredients in a blender, food processor or by hand until smooth(no bumps!).
2. Stir in or top with scallion slices.
