I HATE BURPEES / I LOVE MY LIFE Challenge Workout: Work It Out Wednesday

It’s August 1 and my VEDA month has begun!! What the heck is VEDA? It’s Vlog Every Day in August a.k.a. a little thing that we nerdy YouTubers do to torture ourselves. Jill Hanner turned me onto it and I’m completely terrified amped for the challenge!

So I’ll be posting a NEW VIDEO every single day this month. My workouts will still look pretty much the same, but the rest will be old-school crappy computer camera vlogs… YAY!!! (And if my computer autocorrects “vlog” into “blog” one more time, I’m going to flip out! OMG, it just did again!)

One cool part of this project is that I have very exciting stuff going on (that I can’t quite talk about yet), that I’ll be sharing with you with live-from-the-scene videos. Prepare to take a ride on some planes with me!

This week’s workout comes courtesy of a FitFluential “Manbassador” Kodjo from KodjoWorkout.com. I really shouldn’t call it a courtesy, because these moves are HARDCORE. I’ll probably hate him after this is over. This workout is for TIME! Do 10 reps of each exercise for 2 rounds and let me know how long it took you to complete it. Try to shave off seconds each time you try it. Let’s go!

I HATE BURPEES CHALLENGE:
– Exercise 1: walk-out planks with half-burpee
– Exercise 2: side-plank leg raise to toe touch (both sides)
– Perform each exercise for 10 reps
– Repeat the entire round for a total of 2 rounds (time yourself!!)
